Alfa MiTo Quadrifoglio Verde Aquabatics
In 2011, Alfa Romeo prepared not only to break records with its new campaign for the range topping Alfa MiTo Quadrifoglio Verde but burst them, as they took the ultra-sporty hatchback to the track.
Called Aquabatics, the original water-balloon stunt powered a new Alfa Romeo UK Facebook competition offering 2,500 fans the opportunity to win an exclusive track day.
Alfa Romeo UK constructed a giant Alfa Romeo logo consisting of over 2,500 water balloons.
Footage was recorded in beautiful super-slow motion footage filmed with new Red Epic camera.
Capturing an amazing 300 frames per second, the most acute detail could be viewed in remarkable high definition.
10-time Guinness World Record holder Terry Grant annihilated the water filled balloons with the help of the top-of-the-range Alfa MiTo Quadrifoglio Verde.
Although the balloons put up quite a fight, Terry Grant was certainly up to the challenge.
