In the Alfa 159 Sportwagon, equipment to enhance well-being on board abounds. Standard features include Cruise Control, automatic climate system with dual-zone temperature control, radio with CD player with controls on the steering wheel and a pushbutton ignition control on the centre console. On the Lusso versions, these are joined by sensors for rain, dusk, and reverse parking.

The Alfa 159 Sportwagon revolutionises the world of in-car communication and entertainment thanks to BLUE&ME™, an advanced hands-free system with voice recognition. Produced in collaboration with Microsoft®, you can telephone or listen to music simply and safely, because you will no longer need to take your hands off the wheel. Using Bluetooth™ technology, you can communicate with the outside using your mobile phone, even if it is in your bag. The system, which is integrated into the car, is activated using steering wheel controls, while on the dashboard display you can ‘browse’ through your address book. The car speakers then amplify the voice of the person you are talking to. All you have to do is register your mobile phone the first time you use the system, and it will be automatically ‘recognised’ by the system each time you get into the car, and will automatically update the phonebook. In addition, thanks to an advanced voice-recognition process, the system does not require a voice learning phase.

But that’s not all, you can also listen to all your favourite music, whether it is stored on an MP3-player or on any other device fitted with a USB connection, thanks to a USB port located in the glove compartment that allows you to connect the device, select the tracks you want using the steering wheel controls and play them through the car’s stereo system. With the Alfa 159 Sportwagon you are always at the centre of the world.

The options list continues, from a satellite navigator with maps (also with a “Birdview” display), voice controls and a built-in GSM hands-free telephone, automatic climate control with tri-zone air distribution and temperature control, radio with CD and MP3 reader and a 10-disc CD-changer, a BOSE® Hi-fi Sound System with a central speaker on the facia for sharper acoustics, seats with electrical adjustment, folding rear seats and front parking sensors.
